Over October conference weekend, we took the kids for a drive and picnic. We are so lucky to live so close to many beautiful places. This time we chose to drive up to palisades.
The first big snowfall in November, proved to be a great one as Josh and Adam made a snowfort in the backyard.
November also brought us three new Harris cousins. Matt and Mel's baby Taliese and Kira and Wes's twins, Addalyn and Sydney. Welcome to our family baby girls!
Thanksgiving this year was at Grandma/Grandpa Tolman's. We were lucky enough to have Great Grandma Tolman with this year as well. The kids made their pilgrim and turkey hats - they were quite proud. Grandma's were great sports as well to don their own hats.

Josh wanted to go bowling with his family for his birthday. We had a great time. Josh bowled the highest score - and as to tradition I was the lowest, even lower than the kids. Give me some credit though - they had bumpers and I didn't! :)

We had our annual pumpkin carving at Grandma and Grandpa Tolman's again. A great time as always.
Introducing our fearless cowboy and bat for Halloween 2010. This is the cowboy costume I made for Adam for his birthday, that he wanted nothing to do with until about a month ago. He has enjoyed it so much he wanted to be a cowboy for Halloween - perfect.
Leslie is normally shy around people she doesn't know, but her love of sugar quickly helped her get over that for a night. It only took about 3 houses for her to figure out what was going on. Then she would push her way to the front of the group at each house and say tick-a-tick over and over until she was rewarded for her braveness.
In September, we took the kids to Hogle Zoo and Lagoon. As always, the kids loved the zoo. It was their first time at an amusement park. It took a little getting used to some of the rides, but overall I think they enjoyed their time there. I think Leslie is going to be our little adrenalin junkie. :)
I think playing in the pool was their favorite part of the whole trip.
We had Leslie so warn out, she kept falling asleep while eating. :)
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great trip. The kids had a great time and we have lots of new, great memories.
We went to see the Tillamook Air Museum. When we got there, it was so stinkin' expensive to get in that only Adam and Josh went in to see the the airplanes. They had a good time, but I can't say that we will go back.
While driving out we somehow took a wrong road and were separated from Tony, Karen and Nichole for a good chunk of the day. But, Kira, Mikayla, Josh, the kids, and I were able to make an unplanned stop at the Sea Lion Caves. We were glad we did. While there, we were able to spot a whale. This was Adam's number one item of business while visiting the ocean - see a whale. Great luck, because the day we went to Depot Bay to whale watch, it was extremely cloudy and overcast with no visibility.
